Darice 2704-01 Rhinestone Setter Hot-Fix Applicator Wand

I've never done this type of craft before and used it to put rhinestones on my grandson's Christmas stocking spelling out his name. It took me 12 hours to do it but it was very easy. I'm 55 years old and am surviving breast cancer so I get tired out easily. But this was so fun and had me so happy and excited with the final results that I'm already deciding on what to decorate next with this handy tool. I didn't have any problems picking up the stones and when I did it was because I didn't press down hard enough on the rhinestone when I was trying to grab it. I had more problems trying to keep the rhinestones from flipping upside down on my tray than anything wrong with this tool. I like that the attachments has it's own little case. I wish there was a case or pouch that I could put the whole set (wand and attachments) into. For now I'll just keep them in a sock. Lol. I would and WILL recommend this item to my friends.

I bought this for my 7 year old daughter who wanted a bedazzler. After looking at the terrible bedazzler reviews, I decided to go with something that was better quality. First of all, we absolutely love it. It does take a few jewels to practice, but after you get going, it is great. I would recommend this to anyone interested in a bedazzler.

I bought this to "bedazzle" my daughters dress for a pageant...so far and three events later NO beads have fallen off. It is pretty easy to use. The only tip I've had success with is the flat one -I couldn't get the other ones to grasp the gem without first setting it to the surface they were laying on. So I placed each gem in the spot I wanted and set it using the flat tip. Hopefully I'll have more time to try the other tips...also I did not use the expensive gems! I bought the white crystal hot fix gems from JoAnn's and they worked perfectly!

The product was very inexpensive and worked well. Sometimes I had trouble picking up the gems with it, but that could have been more user error than an issue with the applicator. I would recommend it, I've made some really cool things with it!

First project was a success. Used setter to adhere rhinestones to a hard shiney plastic. Applicator picked up the rhinestones better than expected. Had trouble picking up a couple but most hooked in with ease. I think the rhinestone was in crooked a couple times or the glue ran off and stuck to the applicator, causing the rhinestone to get stuck in holder. Was able to get the rhinestone out by sliding a thin metal stick in the slot and pushing it out. Was able to use the rhinestone still. Had fun using it just need more rhinestones now.
