If you want to buy stuff don't waste money on gold, it is easier to get later. If you have to buy, get Gems since they are very difficult to get (chop down trees and remove rocks gives gems). Trade with Ugga for gold and get soup. Upgrade berry bush ASAP. Don't feed the bears soup, it's not worth it. Stockpile soup early on, it gets more difficult to obtain after level 10. Feed the soup to the Geraliphants, they are slow and a steady supply of leaves is very useful later. Upgrade your house ASAP so you can store more stuff. Save Gems for the Land Whales, they are better at making gold than the Owl Bears. Patience is a virtue.

Rovio really hit it this time this game is great because you can do tons of things to improve your village like capturing animals and taming them and building a home for them. I could compare this game to ice age village so if you like the concept of this game get ice age village made by Gameloft.

this won't install on my K Fire. Cannot even try to play. I tried 4 times and it gave me an install error.

My kindle doesnt like it. It keeps wanting to try and short out. This is the only game that does this.

This is an enjoyable game typical of its genera. Don't use the gems unless you have to or you have real money to spend. Unfortunately, this game caused my 1st generation Fire to act glitchy and then die. I did a hard reboot and played the game some more only to have it freeze. Hard reboot again then uninstalled!
