Set of 100 Grade N42 Super Strong Neodymium Disc Magnets 1/4" X 1/16"

Set of 100 Grade N42 Super Strong Neodymium Disc Magnets 1/4' X 1/16'I live in an old house with plaster and lath walls. Fancy stud finders don't work on my walls, (I've tried $100 ones.) The little magnetic ones will find nails, but since a lot of people have lived in my house over the years, just finding a nail isn't enough: The person that put it there might not have found the stud to put the nail in in the first place, (they might have driven it through and covered it up.) So I bought 100 of these little things. I slide one along the wall until it sticks, leave it there, and repeat. After about 10-15, I start to see a pattern and I can tell where the studs are. I can then put in the nail/cut the hole/whatever and then collect up the magnets again without having to mark up the wall with a pencil.

I bought theses so I could turn some bottle caps into magnets I could use on my fridge. They are tiny, but one disc is able to hold a bottle cap so it won't fall off and two discs stacked holds them tightly. These magnets do exactly what I needed them to and at a fraction of the cost of buying larger magnets at an office supply store.

I ordered these little magnets for a specific task. The lid on our washing machine had a habit of crashing down while cloths were being loaded. I had a little experience with neodymium magnets before and found them fascinating so i figured i would see if these would solve my little problem long story short they worked great! I am now discovering all kinds of uses (magnetic door catch too weak? add one or more of these by just sticking them on.)

One thing to be aware of is the small size these things are little wafers 1/4' in diameter. Not that the picture with a penny isn't a really good scale indicator but still when you see them! Just what i wanted!

I painted my daughter's bedroom wall with magnetic primer and needed lightweight STRONG magnets to hold her cards, artwork, letters, etc. These work perfectly! For the heavier items I just stack them 2-3 mags thick and they hold everything. And when she drops them in the carpet, no worries, I just drag another magnet over the area and it will pick up (or simply find) the dropped magnet so that I'm not worried about picking it up in the vacuum. The price is unbeatable.

These magnets are hella strong. They can hold a lot of weight and can be used for all sorts of stuff. Caution: if you glue these to something with the intent of sticking it on your fridge, use STRONG glue or it will pop apart when you pull if OFF the fridge. Strength of glue must=strength of magnet. I got them in two sizes and use them for all sort of stuff!
